Giveaway Description

Donate Today, and You Could Win This 1979 BMW R100RT Café Racer.

Young Scientists of SC is very excited to offer this exquisite custom built 1979 BMW Café racer from Firehouse Customs. Designed as Rolling Art and engineered for form and function. James Carlisle, the builder, created a stunning bike built of pure passion and attention to detail. You will appreciate the stunning craftsmanship from every perspective. This magnificent opposed-twin café racer style bike is One-Of-A-Kind and will be the center of attention wherever you ride!

The Famous “Boxer” twin engine with 980cc, when cared for, will run very reliably for hundreds of thousands of miles. The engine sports vintage-style valve covers and lovingly rebuilt and polished Bing 32 mm CV carburetors, and breathe out via custom-built and powder-coated exhaust systems. The Lithium-ion batteries, modern LED lighting, and performance suspension and brakes with Spiegler custom made stainless steel lines mean that this bike will perform better than the originals. A phone app controls the configuration of the lights and switches. The instrument cluster is fully configurable. Keyless via Bluetooth starts with a click of a button. The app even keeps track of the GPS coordinates of the bike. This bike has all the modern technology, in a vintage package.
